A sneak peep into the Land Rover Defender is all the public received at the Nurburgring. But thankfully, more was revealed at the end of the road test for the famous crossover.

Land Rover got all the fans excited at the ring. Undercover and only there to show off its speed, handling and performance. Aside from it being one of the most anticipated crossovers and as Land Rover puts it, it’s the best 4x4xFar there are new rumours said to be in play.

One of the secrets rumoured to be making the rounds is that the defender will undoubtedly look similar to the previous-gen but with a modern facelift.

Motor1 stipulates Land Rover will offer up the best of both worlds. A 2-door sports model classified as the 90 model, and then the 110 model, which is the bigger 4-door Defender.

"A view of the two-door 90 model and four-door 110. They share a similarly boxy exterior that retains the aesthetic from the previous generation but with a more modern appearance. Despite looking a little like the old one, the new Defender is far more sophisticated under the skin."

The Biggest Land Rover Secret

The biggest buzz is surrounding the leak that Land Rover is about to unleash a 130 model and is well in development already. It’s said to be the biggest of the new generation. However, the ambition is to release the 90 and the 110 afore the release of the Defender 130 model, coming only in August 2020.

"A recent leak suggests that there’s also an even larger Defender 130 under development. The extra interior space would go towards increasing the passenger capacity to eight people.Current reports suggest that the 110 is coming first with a possible debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September and be on sale in the first half of next year. The 90 has its unveiling in March 2020, and the 130 has a reveal in August 2020. (via: Motor 1)"
