The Bentley EXP100GT Gets Some Miles On The Road
The big birthday boy got a trip outside. Bentley and their EXP100GT got some time on the road with Supercar Blondie. What more did we learn about the extravagant holiday house on wheels?
Besides confirming we will probably never be able to afford this pure luxurious drive, the supercar expert gets deeper under the skin of the birthday gift, the Bentley EXP100GT. "The EXP 100 GT comes with four motors and no internal-combustion engine. All motors are independently fitted on the front and the back of this almost 6m car’s axle. This 6m long luxury drive can hit top speeds of up to 186mph.It to goes from 0-60 mph in under 2.5 seconds. 1500NM of torque with the power of 1400 Horse Power. This is needed with the car weighing a staggering 4188lbs (1900kg). 435 miles of range on this hypercar, which is actually quite fantastic. The name EXP stands for experiential, and the GT obviously means Grand Touring and the 100 is for the birthday mark and celebration of the time they’ve been pushing out cars in this world, well more than just cars.
The front grille which is also a massive light all infused into one with the two round headlights on either side. It all illuminates as one whole light show. It’s also said the LEDs will change colour between autonomous mode and manual drive mode.
The whole grille is fitted with 6000 LED lights! The total amount of LED Lights surrounding the whole car from front to back and top to bottom is 10,000 LED lights. The rear light that runs right across the whole back is actually one large LED screen, able to be personalised to each customer’s specifications.
This is what they are trying to enable with years to come. They want to make it a standard feature on all of their vehicles. Being able to personalise your car from lights, to sound, to paintwork is the goal. Your home on the road. The car is a mix of the past design of elegance and what the future will look like.
The kicker to go with the past and future vibes. The car has been fabricated with old recycled materials as well as reused oils for the leather applications in the car, with many other more precise details. With each new review and every new account, the Bentley just keeps impressing.
