First Bugatti Chiron In The US: Watch The Hellbee Being Unwrapped
Begin your day with the satisfying sight of the first North American Bugatti Chiron “Hellbee” being unwrapped. You’re going to love this DHL delivery!
James “The Stradman” has uploaded a new video on his YouTube channel – The Stradman – and it’s probably going to be one of our favorite car unwrapping clips for some time. The video showcases the first Bugatti Chiron customer car in the US being delivered and unwrapped at O’Gara Coach, La Jolla in San Diego. The “Hellbee” has been ordered by a customer who already owns a Bugatti Veyron Hellbug and the first Lamborghini Centenario Roadster in the world. We’re jealous of that guy already.
You got to admire, James’ passion and excitement in covering this piece. He landed at the premium car dealership before the semi bearing the car made its entry and gives the viewer comprehensive info on the customer and also on the new addition to that lucky chap’s parking lot.
As the semi pulls over to the side of the freeway, the “delivery guy” gets out, puts on a pair of white gloves and drives out the Bugatti Chiron with extreme care and caution. The exotic car, as you can see in the clip below, is completely wrapped up with protective covering. Even the wheel spokes have individual wraps.

Once the yellow and black Chiron (very Bumblebee-ish!) is parked at the dealer lot, an interesting discovery is made as the stickers on the covers indicate that the shipment was done by DHL. James goes on with the details about that part as the Bugatti Chiron Hellbee was airfreighted from France to the US and was held up in customs, awaiting clearance since its arrival at LAX on August 7, 2017.

We can’t help but note those ugly rear bumpers which were slapped on to the Bugatti Chiron Hellbee. You know why those things are there.
Luckily, The Stradman also gets a chance to step into the Hellbee and show us how superior the interior is to that of the Bugatti Veyron. The polished aluminum chest which comes with each car is also opened up to reveal the Speed Key, which makes the driver get the most out of the Chiron. The Hellbee then gets on the car lift which gives everyone a clean and clear view of its underbody. Even that area is smooth and gorgeous to look at, thanks to all the aerodynamic design that had to be integrated to make the Chiron cut through air with ease.

The Bugatti Chiron Hellbee and the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vittesse which tagged along with it to the US, headed to Monterey to be a part of the Monterey Car Week and of course, to show up at the 2017 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Oh… and James also added somewhere in between that the customer who bought this car actually drives the cars in his garage a lot. So, at least we can be happy that the Bugatti Chiron Hellbee is in good hands.
