Genesis G90 To Premiere 5 Special Editions For The Oscars

Oscar Awards’ nominees will be attending the Vanity Fair party in 5 new dual-color special edition Genesis G90 sedans, right after the 90th Academy Awards.

The 90th Academy Awards will take place tonight at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California; Jimmy Kimmel will host again. After the Awards end, celebrities party goers can choose to go to the Vanity Fair afterparty in a very special edition vehicle: the Genesis G90. According to the automaker itself, each “G90 was designed to arrive in character at the iconic Vanity Fair Oscar Party, and to serve as transportation for an award nominee or influencer.”

Following the event, Genesis will then ship the vehicles to to Seoul, South Korea. This is where the cars will be exhibited at Genesis Gangnam, the brand’s first standalone showroom in the business district of Samsung-dong. Eventually the G90 quintuplet will also be displayed at a number of future Genesis brand events organized by Hyundai’s premium division.

According to PR Newswire, Executive Vice President Luc Donckerwolke, Head of Genesis Design said:

"“The 2018 G90 collection has been designed to honor the glamour of Hollywood and break automotive color and trim boundaries. These special editions are just the beginning of what we can imagine for ultimate Genesis tailored luxury.”"

The five special edition G90 sedans will make their red-carpet debuts at the Academy Awards tonight. They will be as follows:

A Touch of Sensuality: This version is finished in warm light silver and matte cocoa brown. It is, without a doubt, a cause for celebration. The brown Nubuck leather and desert sand Nappa leather interior offer a smooth experience for the driver and passengers alike.
