2017 Honda Civic Type R Prices Start From $33,900
The most-talked about car of the season – the 2017 Honda Civic Type R has a price tag now and the carmaker has kept its word. The hot hatch costs $33,900 and sales have begun.
The most-powerful Honda ever sold in the US, the first Type R-badged machine to be listed in the brand’s American portfolio – the 2017 Honda Civic Type R has a lot of fancy taglines associated with it. And now, it has got a price tag too. The hottest hatch in town will set you back by $33,900 and Honda is releasing the car in its fully-loaded Touring trim.
Honda Media Newsroom has announced the pricing of the Type R along with the news of the car going on sale from 15th June 2017. Powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine which produces 306 hp of power and 295 lb-ft of torque, the 2017 Honda Civic Type R shot to fame with its record-breaking lap at the Nürburgring. It currently holds the lap record for the fastest front-wheel-drive car on the famous race track with a lightning-fast time of 7:43.80.
